An exciting band of experienced professionals making up an 'individual' jazz quartet with an increasing profile in London.
GPQ has it's own style throughout but covers a lot of areas (it's fun and works well with a cross section of jazz audiences). A huge repertoire also enables them to hone the style to differing crowds including Post-Bebop, Cool, Ambient, Latin and some originals.
Stylistically, think Miles, Parker, Hancock, Coltrane, Hubbard, Dameron, Gershwin, Fats Waller.........

The quartet is also a classy feature for Weddings and Corporate events playing the more popular standards but great tunes as they are, for the serious jazz venue, whilst still remaining very accessible to all types of audiences, they enjoy playing more adventurous material.
